Contrast the cultural capital of Paris with beautiful Avignon, the Roman remains and Provencal landscapes that inspired Cezanne and Van Gogh, and the chic resorts of sun-drenched Cote d’Azur.

  1. Day 1


    Upon arrival at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport, there will be scheduled transfers at 08:30 and 13:30 to send you to your hotel. The afternoon is for you to enjoy Paris at leisure. In the evening, meet your Travel Director for a warm Welcome Reception followed by a dazzling evening show at the world famous Moulin Rouge.

  2. Day 2


    Start your morning with a sightseeing tour of the beautiful City of Lights. In small groups, venture into a neighbourhood where Parisians go about their daily lives for a taste of local delicacies. Enjoy VIP entry to the viewing gallery on the second level of Eiffel Tower.

  3. Day 3


    Travel first-class aboard France’s TGV to Avignon. Visit Pont Du Gard, one of the world’s best-preserved anicient Roman aqueducts and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For lunch, visit a family-owned olive mill for a Farm-to-Table dining experience. In Avignon, enjoy an exclusive after-hours visit* to the magnificent Palace of the Popes.

  4. Day 4


    In the morning, visit the pretty village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape for a wonderful introduction to the famous wine. Taste the difference for yourself and learn about the different grape varieties that are allowed in the final blend of the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine. Then on to Arles to follow in the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh during your orientation tour. Visit a local olive oil farm to learn about how it’s produced and have a taste of Provence’s olive oil.

  5. Day 5


    Explore Aix-en-Provence at leisure and see the elegant mansions and bustling cafes of the Cours Mirabeau. Have a taste of Calissons, fruit candies that are part of the heritage of the city of Aix. Consider an optional experience to visit Marseille, France’s oldest city brimming with history and fascinating sights. Or, visit an organic farm for truffle hunting before sampling some truffle hors d’œuvres and ice cream.

  6. Day 6


    Visit Cannes, playground of the elite and renowned for its film festival. Continue to the the hilltop village of St-Paul-De-Vence where contemporary painters celebrate art as a living tradition. Next, visit a perfumery in Grasse, before travelling to Nice.

  7. Day 7


    Enjoy a drive along part of the Grand Prix circuit in Monaco and walk with your Travel Director through the old town. Admire the Royal Palace where the Grimaldi family lives. Back in France, visit the medieval village of Eze and its hill-top Botanical Gardens for a spectacular view of the coastline.

  8. Day 8


    The day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. In the evening, raise a glass to new friendships at your Celebration Dinner, a perfect finale to your journey through Southern France.

  9. Day 9


    Bid au revoir to the sunny French Riviera. Insight’s scheduled departure transfers will send you to Nice Airport.

See the popes’ private apartments and admire the magnificent frescoes of the biggest Gothic palace in Europe.
    Enjoy an exclusive after-hours* visit (only for April departure) of the Pope’s Palace, the symbol of the Catholic Church’s position in the 14th century.
  • COTE D’AZUR: Visit a perfumery to learn about the French perfume industry and discover your signature scent.


  • PARISIAN GOURMET WALK: With a local foodie, try some local delicacies in a pâtisserie, boulangerie, fromagerie and chocolatier on an off-the-beaten-track gourmet walking tour.
  • FARM-TO-TABLE DINING: Visit a family-owned olive mill to sample its high quality produce and taste the fresh ingredients during your unique lunch experience
  • CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE WINE TASTING: Embark on a Côtes du Rhone experience to the famous wine village, where you sample wine with an expert and learn about the varieties of grapes used in its production.
  • PROVENÇAL OLIVE OIL TASTING: Visit an olive oil farm to learn how olive oil is produced in Provence. Taste these artisanal olive oil and discover why they are valued for their premium quality.
