Alpine Harmony - Neuschwanstein

Liechtenstein

They say that good things come in small packages and Liechtenstein certainly doesn’t disappoint, with its wealth of cultural and historical attractions, and rich variety of spas and outdoor pursuits.

At the heart of Europe, nestled between Switzerland and Austria, this 260km-squared micro-nation, flanked by mountain ranges, is the fourth-smallest state on the continent.

Perched on the hill, 120 metres above the capital, the whimsical Vaduz Castle overlooks the city in all its glory with views out towards the Rhine. While visitors are not allowed inside, it’s certainly worth the trek up purely for the views.
