There is nothing like the start of a new year to whet one’s appetite for travel! Below you will find where my wanderlust has led me to dream.<\/p>\n

1. Luxury Gold – Ultimate Ireland<\/a><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Two nights at the recently refurbished Ashford Castle with a choice of High Tea or Falconry, an after hours visit to the Little Museum in Dublin, guided by its founder Trevor White and a fabulous dinner at Michelin-starred restaurant l’Ecrivain. Need I say more.<\/p>\n

2. Insight Vacations – Jordan Experience with Dead Sea Option<\/a><\/h2>\n

In partnership with the TreadRight Foundation on this trip you have the incredible opportunity to visit the Iraq Al-Amir Women\u2019s Cooperative to experience firsthand the preservation of local heritage. Travel needs to matter and this is one way of doing so. You’ll also have a chance to go glamping in Wadi Rum and have dinner under the stars.<\/p>\n

3. Insight Vacations – Northern Lights of Scandinavia<\/a><\/h2>\n

This brand new trip ticks off many bucket list items. From meeting Trine Lyrek at her working husky farm to delving into the fascinating history of Scandinavia as you meet its indigenous people, the Sami. With Reindeer feeding, a drink at the ice bar and a chance to see the Northern Lights from the comfort of the glass-domed ceiling in your room at the Ivalo village to round off a truly spectacular trip.<\/p>\n

4. Luxury Gold – Treasures of the Incas<\/a><\/h2>\n

Whilst with other trips you might feel like you’re leaving beautiful Machu Picchu before your coca leaf tea has cooled, with Luxury Gold we stay at the incredible Inka Terra Hotel for two nights.<\/p>\n

5. Insight Vacations – Northern Spain<\/a><\/h2>\n

This trip focuses on two of my favourite things; food and art. We visit San Sebastian, the foodie capital of Northern Spain. Dine-at-home with a local in Gijon and visit some of Gaudi’s masterpieces in Barcelona. Not to forget the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.<\/p>\n

6. Luxury Gold – Majesty of the Rockies with Rocky Mountaineer<\/a><\/h2>\n

What is a better way to relive the golden age of rail travel than on-board the spectacular Rocky Mountaineer. Those vistas are a dream come true!<\/p>\n

7. Trafalgar – Gladiators, Gondolas and Gold<\/a><\/h2>\n

As the mother of two young boys, this family vacation sounds like lots of fun would be had, with brilliant activities for all! My boys can’t wait to see the Colosseum and get hands on at the Gladiator school.<\/p>\n

8. Luxury Gold – Classical India with Nepal<\/a><\/h2>\n

9. Uniworld \u2013 Magnificent Moselle & Rhine<\/a><\/h2>\n

10. Insight Vacations – Eastern Discovery<\/a><\/h2>\n
