GUEST REVIEWS & EXPERIENCES

Our guests rate us 4.5 out of 5 based on 7369 reviews received during the past year.

  • 31 October, 2017

    TRIP:

    SERVICE:

Trip: The itinerary did not cover the Cotswolds although this was advertised in your brochure.. You should seriously consider this point in your advertising material as this was meant to be a highlight to us!

Service: Very efficient overall. We would travel with them again and would recommend them to others.

  • 16 October, 2017

    TRIP:

    SERVICE:

Trip: I rated this on the first screen

Service: The bus leaving and arrival times at each location were well planned and we felt taken care of at each stop. Leaving a location was never super early and arrivals at the next hotel were always early enough to check and get ready for evening activities. Our tour director was very knowledgeable and communicated well. Our stops included a variety of interesting and often world renown locations.

  • 15 October, 2017

    TRIP:

    SERVICE:

Trip: In Glasgow and St. Mellions the hotels were not in convenient locations to allow for exploration of the locations. We had 2 nights in St Mellions which I would recommend changing to 1 night and perhaps adding the other night to York as there is much history in York and we had contrained time.

Service: The tour director - Mark Moresby-White was very knowledgeable about the areas we traveled to and shared the history with us. It made the trip very interesting and it was unexpected so even better. The bus was always clean and our driver Adrian was exceptional. The hotels were very nice and staff accommodating.

    TRIP:

    SERVICE:

Trip: already did on previous page.

Service: Would recommend Insight Vacations and travel with them again with one exception. Grosvenor Hotel in London did not meet expectations. It appears they assign Bus Tour clients to some of their smallest rooms. Our room on the final night was so small, stained and dirty carpets, dirty window coverings. Would not rate a 3 star in North America. Only plus to this hotel is location but we would not stay here again. Other hotels throughout the trip were fine. Much newer, larger rooms, king beds, etc. These were 4or 5 star accommodation which is what we were paying Insight to provide.

    TRIP:

    SERVICE:

Service: The tour guide was excellent as was the driver. The choice of hotels was good. Would definitely travel with them again.

  • 13 October, 2017

    TRIP:

    SERVICE:

Trip: As per above comment, the Glasgow stop was overall less memorable.

Service: Generally very good. Best of Britain tour provided interesting stops, excellent locations, and hotels. The only exceptions, not meeting expectations were -- 1)the Glasgow overnight, with hotel not in a user friendly area, and 2) the provided group dinners with generally mediocre food

  • 06 October, 2017

    TRIP:

    SERVICE:

Trip: Well organized and a lot in a short period of time

Service: Tour guide was excellent!!! Very informative and really helpful!! I thought our walking tour of London should have included admission to Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London to keep us off the subway due to terrorist attacks in London on the subway 4 days prior to our arrival. the hotel in Cardiff was filthy - mold in the bathroom faucets and room was just not clean. Otherwise the hotels were great!!! Yes I would travel again and recommend Insight
