Trip: Combining the ocean and inland locations was the draw for us.
Service: We would highly recommend insight. Everything ran smoothly. The venues, hotels, tour operator were all top notch. We would not hesitate to travel with insight again.
27 August, 2018
Trip: The itinerary was very good, however very tiring in the heat with a lot of walking and steps up to the villages which were mostly on hills. Guests should be aware of this when selecting this tour. Also the optional to the Amalfi coast should be included in the itinerary with the trip to Positano as it is only a short drive further on from Positano. The optional experience - Tuscany Under the Sun did not impress me and the guide who tried to be funny, was not very pleasant.
Service: The overall tour was well organised and the guide spoke excellent English. His historical knowledge was excellent. The tour covered a large part of Italy and so it was very interesting. Some of the hotels and breakfasts provided in the early part of the tour were not up to the usual Insight Vacations standard. I have travelled extensively with Insight in the past.
26 August, 2018
Trip: Hit major cities plus a lot of off the beaten path towns. Perfect way to enjoy all of Italy
Service: First time to Europe and couldn’t be happier with Insights. Took us to all the sights, while learning the history of Italy. Your director was very knowledgeable of all the areas. Enough free time sprinkled in to explore on our own.
25 August, 2018
Trip: This was a very in depth look into a beautiful country
Service: Francis was wonderful!! I love all of his commentary on the destinations we were visiting. Everything was worry free. I traveled with my daughter and we had an amazing adventure on this tour.
25 August, 2018
Trip: Very good but demanding in the heat. I enjoyed sorento and Capri but Amalfi coast optional should be included as part of the tour with Positano. Should not be an optional.
Service: A good English speaking guide who we could understand. Good historical knowledge which is important for history buffs. Always on time, well oganised
30 July, 2018
Trip: I saw everything and more with my Grandson Very enjoyable
Service: I had a fabulous experience with all aspects
29 July, 2018
Trip: A great itinerary, however I think a different overnight stop than Parma as it didn't have much to offer. All other locations, excursions etc etc just great (as always)
Service: I think the fact that I have just done my 10th tour with Insight and never once considered an alternative company to travel with, says it all :-) Always a great trip; well organised and executed. Looking for to my 2019 trip wherever it may be.
29 July, 2018
Trip: All the places we've always wanted to see with insight into the local history and culture. The included and optional culinary experiences exceeded expectations!
Service: Individual attention to every traveler in the group is exceptional. The tour Director Belinda and driver, Max made us feel like family. I will recommend Insight Vacations to anyone traveling to Italy. Belinda has amazing knowledge of Italian history, politics, culture and art, and guided us through all the places we've always wanted to see with the finesse of a true professional.
21 July, 2018
Trip: The hotels felt private and secluded - such a boutique feel. Moving into 2 smaller transfers rather than a large bus to visit Amalfi was a great example of how organised and prepared and excellent Insight are.
Service: The tour host Jacquie couldnt be faulted.
11 July, 2018
Trip: Really enjoyed the extra experiences like local restaurants, balsamic experience in Modena, cheese experience in Parma at Cioulatte, mozzarella experience, etc.
Service: This was an amazing experience. Our guide Jackie and our driver Matteo were both exceptional. I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
07 July, 2018
Trip: The trip gave a great insight to the history of Italy and the Catholic Church. Possibly a little less walking would suit some people however I realise that this is probably not viable.
Service: The content of the tour was excellent. Our Tour Director was excellent and had an outstanding knowledge of history and was an excellent organizer. Yes I would travel with Insight again and would recommend them. This is my second trip with Insight.
07 July, 2018
Trip: Loved being in different cities everyday.
Service: Everything was taken care of, food, luggage and hotel room. Jackie is very knowledgeable. Great trip.
