Welcome to Kraków
Transfers for your tour hotel depart Kraków Airport at 10:30, 12:30 and 15:00. In the late afternoon, meet your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception with drinks and dinner. Afterwards, get your first taste of Polish old-world charm with a walk around the magnificent Cloth Hall in the Market Square. Wrapped in romantic gabled townhouses and Gothic spires, the festive Christmas Market stalls are a Disneyesque dream, offering all sorts of delicacies and delights - from Highland woollen slippers to amber jewellery from the Baltic. Maybe try the traditional ‘oscypek' cheese with cranberries, a delicacy from the Tatra mountains?
The Damsels & Dragons of Kraków
(Relaxed Start) Perhaps spend some reflective moments during your free time and visit Auschwitz concentration camp? Later, ascend Wawel Hill with a Local Expert to see the Renaissance castle and visit the cathedral – the final resting place of the Kings of Poland. Then cross the former Jewish Quarter of Kazimierz to ‘Old Podgórze' to see Ghetto Square and remains of the Ghetto Wall. The rest of the day is at leisure and allows you to explore the traditional Christmas Market located in the Old Town's historic district. You'll find yourself immersed in festive spirit as you shop for authentic Christmas decorations, gifts, toys and tasty treats.
Wrocaw, the Venice of Poland
(Relaxed Start) With the morning free, why not visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine in the morning? Later, continue to the city of Wrocław, the 'Venice of Poland', made up of five rivers, 12 islands and over 150 bridges. Rated as one of the finest in Europe, Wrocław’s Christmas Market offers a delightful, fairy-tale charm. Enjoy an orientation tour of the market, located in the historic main square ‘Rynek’, surrounded by Baroque splendour and adorned with thousands of twinkling lights. Spend time exploring the vast array of stalls bursting with local crafts and tasty treats.
Macabre Kutná Hora and on to Prague
Cross the Czech border and head for Kutná Hora, a town that flourished during the Middle Ages thanks to vast deposits of silver. At the Sedlec Chapel, step into a macabre world of sculptures, coats of arms and even a chandelier, made entirely out of human bones! Next, venture on to the Czech capital of Prague.
Prague, City of a Hundred Spires
(Relaxed Start) With a Local Expert, look upon the Vltava River from the heights of Prague Castle, dominated by the soaring spires of St. Vitus' Cathedral. Then, down at the Old Town Square, Prague’s colourful Christmas Market contrasts with the Gothic skyline. Beneath a giant Christmas tree, draped in a blaze of lights, locals browse the decorative wooden stalls. Meet a local stallholder and savour a glass of Svařák (mulled wine) along with the local ‘Trdelník’ pastry.
The German Cities of Dresden and Berlin
(Relaxed Start) Cross the German border to Dresden. Gaze up at the Frauenkirche, risen once again from wartime ashes. Your guided tour will continue past the colossal 'Procession of the Dukes' mosaic, the cathedral, Semper Opera House and Zwinger Palace. Perhaps seek out the delicious Christstollen - a Christmas cake recipe dating back to medieval times, or shop for a traditional Christmas pyramid, before continuing on to Berlin.
The Spirit of Berlin
(Relaxed Start) Join a Local Expert to see the Brandenburg Gate, State Opera House, remnants of the Berlin Wall, Unter den Linden, and the beautifully restored Reichstag Building. In the afternoon, feel free to soak up the Weihnachtszauber (Christmas magic) at the Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin’s most magnificent square, or saunter through any of the Christmas Markets which are dotted around the city. For your farewell Celebration Dinner, enjoy delightful German cuisine and wine at a family-run restaurant, complete with music and Gemütlichkeit.
Auf Wiedersehen Berlin
Your tour draws to a close after breakfast. Departure transfers arrive at Berlin's Tegel Airport at 07:00 and 10:00.

Trip: Our itinerary was fascinating and informative, and provided a great learning experience in a well-paced and efficient manner. The places we visited opened my eyes and provided an experience of a lifetime. The learning opportunities of this itinerary were outstanding and greatly appreciated.
Service: All hotel arrangements, group meals, added tour opportunities with local experts, and the "main attraction" tours were wonderful and greatly enjoyed. I admire Tim's leadership and communication skills as he described the places we visited. His kindness and calm approach to managing our group was superb. What I liked most were Tim's narratives and explanations as we traveled from city to city. Tim is a very personable, intelligent, professional, and considerate tour guide, and I believe he made our tour the wonderful and enjoyable success that it was. I also appreciated the spacious, modern, and clean tour bus that was our "home" for several hours most days. Our driver, Thomas, was exceptionally skilled and competent.

Trip: Everything was great except for the bone church.....just not my thing and it felt like we stopped there due to driving regulations rather than a site of interest. I would have preferred to stop elsewhere. Apart from this the rest of the itinerary was fantastic.
Service: Our guide Judit was amazing! She was friendly, informative and nothing was a bother. Our bus driver Mirat was also lovely and helpful. Together they were a great team and made everybody ontour feel like part of a family.

Trip: The locations of our tours was very interesting. Our tour guide was extremely well informed and organized each day very well.
Service: Well organized tour with interesting locations. Level of activity balanced.

Trip: A diverse and balanced itinerary but in some instances time available to spend in the markets got sacrificed in favour of other sightseeing activities - some tweaking of the itinerary to rationalise timings and to review inclusion of a couple of other site visits would be good. Namely - is stop at the Sedlec Osiary really necessary; too much time allocated for Czech palace visit ( we were essentially marking time being given inconsequential information while waiting to get into a coffee shop ); accommodate times of arrival into towns around hours of daylight / nightfall
Service: Well coordinated tour with every need considered and catered for, a proactive, friendly but professional and well informed tour director; centrally located and good quality hotels ; comfortable coach driven by an experienced and professional driver over a diverse itinerary that encompassed more than Xmas markets

Trip: My wife loved them, happy wife means happy life :)
Service: They are well organised but could do better on the bus seat allocation. I would recommend them to another person. This is our second travel with this company and next time I would for an alternative option only based on the bus allocation seating issue I have with them.
