Trip: Enjoyed our first Insight Tour. Lots of new experiences with a wonderful tour guide.

Service: This was our first experience with Insight Tours though we have traveled with sister companies. The entire package was professional...the tour, our director and the places which we visited.

Trip: A great overview of Morocco. A lot was packed in. Because this was my second trip I would have preferred fewer places and more time spent in each place. I really liked including opportunities to interact with local people into the itinerary.

Service: Customer service was exceptional! I would definitely recommend and travel with Insight Vacations again. There were a number of people on the tour that had traveled with Insight previously.

Trip: Maybe cut short time on bus

Service: Excellent customer service-hotel quality was uneven.

  • 13 January, 2019

Trip: Contained all that you would want to see in Morocco except inside the mosque at Casablanca.

Service: Very well organized. Always on time and hotels are up to standard. The tour guides are very knowledgeable.

Trip: The itinerary was perfect as it captured some of the best sites in Morocco and included lots of private tours and other experiences like visits to local Imam's Kasbah, learning to make Moroccan mint tea, visiting a Berber family in their cave, tasting local food etc. However, the only suggestion I will make is to include the inside tour of the Mosque Hasan II. And perhaps make Fantasia Moroccan Dinner and Cultural Show a must included rather than an optional. Other than that it was a perfect itinerary to capture visits to all those sites in 10 days. Loved the last dinner at the famous Rick's Café!

Service: This was our second trip with Insight Vacations and once again we thoroughly enjoyed it. Most tours take you to the three main cities of Casablanca, Fes and Marrakesh but the Best of Morocco tour took us to some of the most exotic sites, cities and towns in Morocco. What we liked most about the tour was not just visiting various places but most importantly learning about the local people, culture, cuisine, local produce, history, geography and the country and feeling the experience. Many myths were busted as a result of this journey and we are so glad we did this tour. The itinerary was well planned with good choice of locations to visit and good choice of restaurants to stop for lunch and to enjoy dinner and the hotel stays were comfortable. The only disappointing note from the trip was the super exaggerated prices of some very ordinary items when we were taken for shopping so unless you are good at bargaining don’t get carried away by too much shopping. The bus was comfortable and neat though access to wifi on the bus was intermittent. Our driver Ibrahim had the best driving skills. Our Tour Director Hassan was very knowledgeable and he ensured that we feel, learn and experience as well as capture best memories of Morocco in all forms.

Trip: We saw a great deal of the country and had many wonderful experiences. My only disappointment was that we had only one night in Ouarzazate, which had the best hotel on the trip.

Service: The only difficult part of any tour is finding the airport greeter. Your greeters should have a LARGE sign that is easily visible, and preferably held high. (I think I've suggested this in previous reviews.) Finding Hassan at the Casablanca airport was very difficult, made more so because we had to meet him outside the terminal (which I know Insight couldn't control). I also did not receive the bright yellow luggage tag that I usually get from Insight prior to my trip. The tag would have enabled me to spot other Insight travelers easily and might have helped Hassan find me easier, too. Many other travelers on this trip said they also did not get the luggage tag. Also, the New Year's Eve celebration should have been included in the tour, even if that meant charging a little more, rather than being an optional excursion. By the time Hassan tried to make the reservation, the event was sold out. The alternative dinner was nice, but how often does one celebrate New Year's Eve in Morocco? Hassan had built up the original celebration so much that everyone was very disappointed at not being able to attend.

Trip: The itinerary was great /perfect but only got one complaint about Hassan our Tour Director: We paid the Gratuity up front for him and the driver-when coming back to the hotel after the fair well dinner and wanted to say good buy to him -his first words where: WHERE IS MY GRATUITY?YOU DID NOT GIVE ME ANYTHING-GIVE ME THE MONEY. Was shocked to be spoken like this in such a manner as no normal Tour guide would speak to his clients like this.Told him that we paid up front-his words[ GET ME THE PROOF NOW /GIVE ME THE VOUCHER -GET IT].as i wont get my money without that.Due to his tone i certainly did not go up to my room to give this to him[ other people did] -he has worked many years for Insight Vacation and he should know that he would get his money as on my Itinerary it states also that the Tour Director has been notified. He also told us that he did private tours any were in Morocco as he handed out his business cards[had clients for him] but with that attitude i would never to any business with him or recommend him to friends of mine. After a fantastic tour that left a bitter taste in my mouth

Service: Everything ran smoothly/driver was fantastic and could not do enough for us plus the Tour Directors knowledge/explaining everything in detail plus told us a lot about Morocco politicaly/economics/tax/schools etc. and he got out of his way to make us comfortable/ would recommend this to anyone and if you have got a Trip in Mexico i would book with Insight facation again

Trip: Loved the time , would not extend it longer .

    Service: Highly recommend

  • 09 April, 2018

Trip: Covered all of Morocco Beautiful scenery

Service: I would like to take this opportunity to commend Abdul Wahab Our tour guide. He loves his job and loves Morocco dearly. He was so attentive to every small detail on the trip. Such as calling ahead to have lunch is ready on the highway. He told us very detailed and interesting accounts of Moroccan history and various kings and Dynasties. He also regaled us with humorous and poignant stories of his courtship and marriage. He explained the differences between Sunnis and Shia which was very informative. He also arranged a breakfast for those of us leaving the hotel for the airport on the last day at 5 AM which could not have been easy. He is a people person and a great representative of insight. The tour was great but I have dual added the extra dimension.
