Trip: The locations on the tour were lovely, but the pace of the tour was much too hectic. There were several instances when we had an hour or less to wait for our bags to be brought to our rooms and then we were out the door again!
Service: Tony, our guide, was wonderful.

Trip: A great overall experience of both Spain and Portugal.
Service: Insight did everything excellent. Out tour director, Bradley, was fantastic. All the accommodations were great, the coach and driver, Pedro, were great. My wife and I did all the extra excursions.

Trip: The itinerary was very fast paced, we did not have enough time to take in the local atmosphere. At times the group felt very rushed, minimal time was allotted for eating lunch and shopping. the itinerary did provide a chance to see a lot of places. At times we stopped at locations that were less than 1 hour from the final destination for the day, which prevented us time to explore the city, which was supposed to be the main attraction, this did not make sense. At other times we stopped at rest areas shortly after we had left the hotel which did not make sense as well, which wasted valuable time for exploring the next touring stop. The add-ons were very good with the exception of the dinners, the dinners were not very good in a couple of the locations. I would recommend that you include the excursions the itinerary and be done with it, it feels as if Insight is trying to not be truthful, it would be better to know in advance for budgeting purposes as well as make the package more attractive.
Service: I will not recommend insight due to hotel accomodations (all but two) not having air conditioning. In the Salamanca hotel the shower stall was very small, so small that we had to leave the doors open to take a shower. I didn't report this to Enzo because we were in a hurry to get ready for the Tapas dinner at the Plaza Mayor. According to Vacations to Go they also said that Insight would not change our flight from Madrid to Barcelona (our last stop on the tour) so we had to endure an 8 hour bus ride from Barcelona to Madrid in order to catch our flight which was impacted due to the Air France strike.

Trip: Covered a LOT of territory, literally & figuratively. It would have been nice to have 2 nights in a couple of my locations but understand it would extend the length of the tour. It would have allowed some free time to explore. The one hotel, Vennecci I think, did not match the std as a repeat Insight traveler expect. Enzo’s knowledge, humor, personality were as huge factor in the trip being successful. The local guides were also very very good. All the special dinners except the dine around we’re excellent. We chose the non hotel dine around, we should have selected the hotel one.
Service: The Tour Firector Enzo Buonono was terrific and pre trip I contacted CS about avl of hair dryers at the hotels, a rapid response. Very pleased. Enzo particularity was able to managed some chronic complainers in the tour, who blamed the company and others for their lack of due diligience with their travel agent. Two couples who a moderate walking issues didn’t like the pace, well, they obviously saw the itinerary...included and optional excursions.

Trip: We saw a lot in the amount of days we were there. I wouldn’t change a thing.
Service: Great itinerary, tour director and driver. Our tour director Enzo had the best attitude every single day, including the early morning starts. He was very knowledgeable and made every day interesting. Enzo went above and beyond to make our trip the best it could be. I loved every minute of the tour. Thank you Enzo and Norberto!

Service: Service was generally good.

Trip: All the BEST cities in Spain & Portugal were visited
Service: What they did well? Everything. And the tour director: Brad ****; outstanding!
07 April, 2018
Trip: The tour team made the difference between a good and a perfect tour
Service: Certainly both Spain and Portugal are beautiful but we were extra fortunate to have Brad **** and Pedro as our tour team . Both went out of their way to make the journey pleasant, informative, organized and clearly the best tour we have ever taken.

Trip: We felt like we had really seen Portugal and Spain at end of the trip. We saw all of the highlights and fully exceeded our expectations.
Service: From the luxury bus to the wonderful hotels and great tour guide, the whole experience was first rate.
02 April, 2018
Trip: Felt rushed through some of the tours of older areas. Some guests were not mobile.
Service: Would like to have stayed in more older hotels with Spanish architecture and history. I can stay in a sleek modern hotel anywhere.
