Trip: Such gorgeous Christmas markets! I'm missing them all especially the one in Dresden and Rothenberg. What a lovely experience and time we had. I wanna go back to Germany again.

Service: Good schedules for daily departures from hotels. Lovely selection of hotels - good locations, nice and comfortable rooms, fabulous breakfast spread. Travel Director and driver were brilliant! Always ready with additional information and ever ready to assist the guests. My family and I had a wonderful vacation. Thank you!

Trip: The Itinerary was good but the Markets did become a bit repetitive and if you got a boring city tour guide it lost the overall excitement.

Service: The service was excellent. Overall Berlin had a very ordinary start and very ordinary welcome dinner. Things picked up somewhat after that which was good. Maybe doing the Christmas Markets in more than one country would have provided more variety???. Hildergrd was excellent as was Rominos the bus driver so no reflection on them or Lara who was extremely helpful in organising all the travel for us. The Quality of some meals and the quality of the extra tour guides is what needs improving. We travel overseas at least twice each year and we are generally easy to please and usually only have positive feedback. I’m not saying I wouldn’t use Insight again I’m saying it didn’t offer a great experience the first 2-3 days so I started to question my decision as to why I chose this Insight Tour which for me is an unprecedented experience as I enjoy my holidays.

  • 20 December, 2018

Trip: Excellent itinerary and enough free time.

    Service: Tour director was exceptional.

  • 16 December, 2018

Trip: The itinerary was well paced and although we covered a lot of kms it didn’t feel as though we were continually on the road.

Service: It was a very well organised tour. Knowledgeable tour director and local guides, very experienced driver and comfortable bus. Accommodation was of a good standard.

  • 16 December, 2018

Trip: This was something which my travelling companions have long wished to do.

Service: Both the guide and the driver are highly skilled in what they do.

  • 16 December, 2018

Trip: Way too much time spent on a bus tho I do understand you have to get from Point A to Point B &, sadly, that has to be done during waking hours. The Christmas Market in Nuremberg was wonderful...the hotel not so much.

Service: I felt the tour in general was well planned & well thought-out. What I found lacking was daily details on timing & scheduling. Posted every night was a v-e-r-y limited time frame of the next day. I wanted details. As an example...I got up at 6am one day just so I could wash my hair...only to find out there was 'free-time' later that afternoon. Needless to say, I wouldn't have gotten up early if I knew tomorrow's timing. Also, I'd like a briefing on what to expect tomorrow, what'll we'll see, what we'll do, where we'll be. More input would be desirable for me.

  • 16 December, 2018

Trip: Good combination of Christmas markets and history. Longer time in Nuremberg would have been appreciated. For those visiting Berlin for the first time east Berlin highlights should have been included and not optional.

Service: Our guide Bob and driver Ion made our holiday. Their skills, knowledge, attention to detail and organisation ensured smooth and enjoyable touring. The coach was comfortable, well appointed and Ion ensured it was always clean and tidy. His driving skills outstanding. The treats provided by Bob and background information about these was a welcome bonus. The pace and scheduled stops made for a relaxed trip. A good mix of markets and history made for variety. Bob’s background in history was obvious in his knowledge of sites. The choice of local guides was excellent. I would recommend Insight to others and would travel with them again. My good wishes to Bob and Ion and wish them well in future endeavours.
