Trip: I loved it! Took me to places I have always wanted to go!
Service: As with all Insight Vacation Tours we have taken in Europe (3), the recent Insight tour we took through Bavaria, Austria and Switzerland was exceptional to say the least. We stayed in wonderful hotels, ate fantastic food and visited some of the best sites and attractions Europe has to offer. Our tour director, Sue Mason, provided historical accounts for every area we visited and up-to-date information at each stop along the way. I have to say the Sue was one of the finest tour directors we have encountered on our trips abroad and an outstanding representative of Insight Vacations.

Trip: While a whole lot of territory was covered; hotel stays in each location should be longer than one night each.
Service: Call Center Customer Service was good; however, in terms of in-depth knowledge of tour details; the call center staff are trained at a "high level" only. Personal Tour Director while on the trip was terrific!

Trip: These were all wonderful locations and the time of year was perfect. Vienna was a lot for me because of the size but the museum and the concert were fun.
Service: They were attentive to everyone and got around to everyone. The organization to keep us moving on schedule and to the optional trips was smooth but did not seem to be easy, to me. The sites I saw were the highlight of the trip.

18 October, 2018
Trip: Some of the visits to places/locations were too rushed for time. In particular was Day 4 Salzburg Tuesday 11/9 where this included coach travel from Oberammergau to Salzburg, and a quick walk around the town which included locations for the movie "The Sound of Music". More time could have been allowed to soak up these iconic filming locations when we were actually at each one. Then onto our coach to do the "Eagles Nest". The time allowed at The Eagles Nest was too short, an extra 30/45 minutes up top would have allowed me to absorb the absolute importance of this visit. It was too rushed and I regret that. Day 9 in St Moritz was a disappointment as it was Sunday 16/9 and nothing was open. The scenery and walk around the lake was great but all the shops were closed. The meal at the motel that evening was ordinary to say the least (probably because you had to feed us and it was a Sunday so nothing was open)
Service: The only customer service I had was with the Coach Driver Mandi Basic and Travel Director Carl Eggeling. Both were excellent and knew their respective jobs very well. I could not fault either of these gentlemen and I highly recommend both of them.
