Trip: We purchased the Flam Railway and Grieg House excursions. I feel these should also have been included in the regular itinerary.
Service: This was our first tour and hopefully not our last. Our guide Amanda and driver Michael were both professional and friendly. Leaving everything to Insight made our trip so easy! Country Roads of Scandinavia is a great name for this tour. We enjoyed places we never would have visited on our own. Thanks for a great trip!
13 October, 2018
Trip: Generally well organized, with worthwhile stops along the way.
Service: Our tour guide was well-informed and careful to meet our individual needs. He was especially helpful in getting our lost luggage and helped with recharging my cell phone. The airport hotel in Stravanger was out-of-the-way, and 2 hotels in the Radisson chain had bad plumbing (and odors).

Trip: Covered what we wanted to see. Some optional experiences didn't operate because of either a lack of interest or were not value for money
Service: Excellent service from Australian office plus a very good knowledgeable guide.
23 September, 2018
Trip: The locations visited were all that I could have wished for
Service: The Tour Director (Amanda) and driver (Michael) were excellent. The coach was of good quality with excellent legroom

Trip: Oslo, Bergin, ffiod and Aarhaus all excellent. Hotel in Stavanger too far from attractions .. though tour director did his best to shuttle us in.
Service: Rob our tour director was excellent. Michael our driver was also very helpful.

Service: we were very disappointed in the hotel location at Stavanger.
09 September, 2018
Trip: I would have like more time to explore on our own.
Service: The guide, Rob, was outstanding as were all of the local guides. The local guide in Bergen was amazing. I would have enjoyed more stops on the bus trips to view villages.
18 August, 2018
Trip: We felt that we saw as much as possible of Norway and Denmark in our short amount of time. We enjoyed each of the destinations and felt that we had enough time to explore each of them.
Service: Our travel agent mad3 our arrangements so we have had little contact with customer service.
13 August, 2018
Trip: We covered the main sights. I appreciate itineraries that include some active activities such a a hiking day or more cost included excursions.
Service: The customer service was excellent. Joey, our tour guide with Insight Vacations was exemplary. He was aware of everyone’s needs and issues. Joey was “Johnny on the spot” for any occurrence, such as noticing if someone didn’t feel well, or if someone was wondering about something. He was politically correct at all times. Some of the excursion guides were wonderful as well, but not all.
12 August, 2018
Trip: Not enough time allowed to visit a museum in the middle of Aarhus over an actual Viking settlement. There were several days with long journeys sitting in the coach, 5+ hours.
Service: There were a number of long days in the coach through spectacular scenery but no allowance was made for the coach to stop to allow photographs to be taken, the only stops were for comfort breaks. Not all the seats in the coach had the leg room you advertise. Otherwise we found the trip (our 7th with insight) very enjoyable, and the places visited informative and interesting.
08 August, 2018
Trip: There are many nice places that we visited and the hotels are good.
Service: They are fast in respond and reliable
30 July, 2018
Trip: I would have given it 5 stars had we stayed 2 nights in Kristiansand, Norway as the rest were 2-night stays through Copenhagen, Denmark. "Overnights" can be stressful, unlike 2-3 nights which are quite comfortable, even if it costs more.
Service: Overall, Insight's customer care is pretty good though, some of their staff need to really familiarize themselves with each client's chosen product, i.e. land tour only, land tour with air (coach fare, business class fare) pre-tour hotel, post-tour hotel, etc. It's no fun to be given false information on specifics about a fully paid early booking.
