Follow the gorgeous white stone, laid down by the Venetians to the town’s magnificent main square with your Local Expert, considered one of the country’s most beautiful. Lined with chic cafes, it unfurls onto the yacht-filled harbour, with the photogenic Renaissance cathedral forming a stunning backdrop. Spend time exploring the secluded beaches and tiny seafood restaurants or visit the crowning fortress for superb views over the town and island-studded bay.

Trip: Our cabin was superb and so large and comfortable. We had a full sliding window and a roomy bathroom too. We were in cabin 14 on the Avantgard (sp?), the newest ship in the Katarina line. The itinerary was wonderful, a near-perfect mix of large city experiences, natural beauty, small island stops, and relaxing cruising/swimming time. Luckily, our weather was warm and mostly dry one the cruise got under way. This was ouf first experience on a small cruise ship and we enjoyed it immensely!
Service: Our cruise director, Aida, was wonderful! She was informative, friendly, and accommodating; she tried to meet and exceed a variety of expectations from all the travelers. We received lots of cultural and historic information about the country and ports of call, as well as some insider tips that really enhanced our holiday. Most of the small crew were friendly, attentive, and helpful as well, with one exception. The chef, kitchen assistants, and servers were terrific! The food was delicious, locally-sourced, and beautifully presented. One minor inconvenience was that no one could get the sun deck hot tub working properly :-(

Trip: loved the plan--a nice blend of tourist attractions, beaches, and off the common path experiences
Service: The tour guide was outstanding! Very knowledgeable, honest, and caring. A few of the crew members were not as great: unapproachable, unhappy, and even rude. For example, our first night on the boat, we were all very excited for this trip that had been planned for 3 years. We wanted to have a few cocktails and enjoy the hot tub. When I asked the female bartender if I could have a small sample of their local tap beer, she was obviously upset and rolled her eyes at me. ( would have had a cocktail but the boat did not have vodka). She did not deliver the drinks, ask us if we wanted more, and did not pick up the empty glasses. We ran up and down the steps to the bar and returned out empties for her. Also, she would not increase the temperature of the hot tub, so we were not able to use it. We were informed that this was the second last trip of the season for this crew and they were all anxious for their break. It's unfortunate that we suffered from their burn out. The quality of the food was stellar! and we enjoyed the arranged stops on the islands/beaches.

Trip: Good was what I thought applicable.
Service: The boat was first class as were the meals on board. Bedding could be improved, single beds pushed together not good, pillows very soft.

Trip: This cruise was so relaxing, the crew staff were wonderful and they were always cleaning the boat. We loved the swimming stops. The 4 courses lunch menu was a bit much for me.
Service: Perfect location of the hotel at Split, so close to the old city.

Trip: The best thing about this cruise itinerary is that we had tours of islands, which one doesn't get on a bus tour, and there was a lot of free time for us to explore on our own. We never felt rushed, and as it was the end of cruise season we seldom felt crowded while ashore.
Service: All was excellent, from the cruise director to the helpful and welcoming crew and captain. The chef was outstanding, providing special meals for me to accommodate my special diet. We were given swim opportunities almost every day, which was a bonus feature of the cruise. Also, the captain managed to dock us next to the pier every day, which was helpful to the less mobile people on board.

Trip: The cabin was more spacious than I had expected. But they do no5 even provide boxes of tissue paper. Unfortunately, the service from the crew members were unacceptable, except the housekeeper, Antonia, did an excellent job.
Service: The representatives are knowledgeable, courteous and helpful.

Trip: Seeing new places we hadn't been before, well planned and we didn't feel rushed.
Service: Excellent met every need

Trip: The tour started with a night at the hotel on Friday but we didn't get to the ship until Saturday afternoon and the check in process was slow. At the end of the trip we disembarked at 9.30 but had been told not to book flights until after 12pm so there was a long wait before transfer to the airport. At a bit of a loose end as to what to do as we'd already spent time in Split.
Service: It was good speaking with Lara about our booking as she was helpful and efficient.

Trip: Great itinerary! Fortunately took trip at the end of the cruise season so fewer other tourists.
Service: The trip definitely met expectations. I found the Insight website to be difficult to use.

Trip: It was a relaxing trip but also had enough excursions to keep us busy every day. I am glad that we got to swim four times.
