Trip: If you want to see the best of a country, take a Highlights tour with Insight!
Service: Insight has the unique ability to provide a comprehensive trip to multiple destinations in a a short period of time done with excellence. They feature great local hotels in prime locations. But the best part is their Tour Directors and expert Local Guides who are brilliant and tell their tales with humor and grace. They make the trip unique and special and create memories that will last a lifetime. I love seeing the world with Insight!!

Trip: We wanted to see a lot and do a lot on this trip. Mission accomplished. The itinerary was comprehensive, but still allowed for flex time. We loved the optional excursions and participated in all of them.
Service: The trip exceeded every expectation. Our entire family had a ball. All details were taken care of for us, which allowed us to sit back and truly enjoy the highlights of Spain. Dan, our tour director, was truly exceptional. He was constantly providing nice little surprises along the way and was a wealth of knowledge throughout the tour. We all want to do it again!

Trip: My family was able to cover a lot of ground by touring with Insight. We would not have had time to do all the research, bookings, transportation needs required to have this expansive of an itinerary in only a week.
Service: We felt that Insight answered any question we had immediately

Trip: Highlights of Spain is exactly what it's name suggests.it covers in 8 or 9 days major sites of Spain. You leave with a good understanding of the transitions in history Spain has undergone and the complex regional nature of Spain. It's reasonably full on but if time is limited it's the perfect overview of Spain in a nutshell
Service: Well organised. Met our needs

Trip: Please read the above, a most amazing tour.
Service: The recent Insight Vacations was an amazing experience for me. The tour leader and the coach driver were absolutely fist class leaders for what they did for the group. Apart from their exceptional knowledge of Spain, they were gracious human beings, helpful and attractive individuals. If I had the opportunity to take this tour again I would spend more time in each of the beautiful hotels and not to rush from one city to the other. Thank you!

Trip: I think could have stayed for 2 nights in Velencia instead of 1 night. It might be worth considering using the high speed train from Seville to Madrid to allow more time in Madrid for free time and sightseeing
Service: They where well organised and prepared. This made our holiday very smooth and no fuss.

Trip: WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS ON OUR OWN SO THE ORGANISATION WAS GOOD. THE HOTELS WERE NOT 5 STAR AND COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. EVEN THE MEALS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER QUALITY, IMAGINE A CHRISTMAS WITH NO CHRISTMAS PUDDING
Service: THE GENERAL ORGANISATION WAS GOOD. BUT I DID NOT LIKE THOSE OPTIONAL TOURS. SINCE WE PAY SUCH A LOT FOR THE TOUR AND INSIGHT IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE OF THE TOURS I THINK THE OPTIONALS SHOULD BE PART OF THE ITENERARY. I CERTAINLY WONT BE GOING ON THESE OPTIONALS AND EVEN IF I DID I WILL NOT BE TIPPING THE SO CALLED LOCAL EXPERTS. WE DONT NEED THESE LOCAL EXPERTS SINCE WE DONT NEED SUCH DETAILS AND I AM SURE THE TOUR GUIDE CAN DO THIS JOB EASILY. I REMEMBER THE TOUR OF TURKEY, THERE WERE NO OPTIONALS AND EVERYTHING WAS INCLUDED. I THINK ITS VERY UNFAIR TO ASK US TO PAY SOME MORE FOR THESE OPTIONALS WHICH COULD EASILY BE PART OF THE NORMAL TOUR

Trip: The hotels selected could have been better. This was our 4th Insight tour (the 1st 3 being to Turkey, Scandinavia and Croatia respectively) and the hotels in those countries, specially Turkey and Croatia, were excellent, for e.g. the Dubrovnik Palace hotel in the latter trip. There were no hotels of equivalent standard on this trip. THe hotel in Barcelona came close but the other venues did not even come close because they didn't even have tea and coffee making facilities. Also, the included dinners were MUCH better on the 1st 3 tours. For e.g. in the islands of Hvar and Korcula, the meals were buffets and in Turkey and NOrway also, e.g. Geiranger, the included meals were buffets for the most part (maybe 2 sit downs). Here, in Spain, we were disappointed there were no buffets at all. Just one buffet on Christmas day or eve would have been nice!
Service: The tour director and driver were very good. The itinerary was also good for the most part but the optional tour in Barcelona could have been done a little earlier, 5 pm instead of 6 pm, so that there was light to get photos. Could have included a visit to Guell park to see more of Gaudi's work.
