Trip: Sights, meals and tour guide and driver were excellent

Service: Yes I would travel with you again. The only disappointment I had was at The Westin in Halifax. I requested 2beds. Upon arriving was given a room with one bed. If it had been a king that would have worked. When traveling with you in the past I have always received requested accommodation. This was a 4star hotel but the room was in need of an update, one bed, phone not working properly, dirty, and wallpaper coming off wall under window. I would think that your company would have enough clout that their clients would receive their request and a room that was of higher standards.

Trip: It was really good considering this is a small area.

Service: Isabelle and driver Jim are 2 lovely people who relate so well to people and are more than happy to help with any request and Isabelle gives a lot of commentary and spoils us with songs and treats and friendliness. Superlatives for both.

Trip: I enjoyed the pace of this itinerary. I liked that we spent 3 days in a couple of the hotels, which were all very comfortable. I always enjoy about Insight that we receive a tour of the city and then have an opportunity to investigate points of our own interest. Isabelle and Jim gave us suggestions for when we had lunch and dinner on our own, and were all very satisfying. I didn't know much about the Maritimes, but because of this itinerary, I came away with more knowledge and happy memories of this beautiful part of Canada.

Service: Our tour director, Isabelle, was outstanding. She was knowledgable, friendly and very organized. I liked that Isabelle used the laminated information sheet and passed it around on the coach for us to take a picture of it with our cell phones. She kept us entertained with her music, stories and pleasant attitude. Our driver, Jim, was also outstanding. His driving kept us safe and on-time. I enjoyed the new coach. My son is 6'3" and appreciated the leg room, as we have on all our Insight Tours (this was my sixth). I also appreciated the bottle water that we received on the coach. All the local guides we had were also very passionate, especially Bob at the Halifax Museum and John, the local Halifax Mguide. The guides at Lunneburg and Prince Edward Island were also very good. I liked all the hotels, but really enjoyed the Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa. Looking forward to booking our next Insight Tour.

Trip: Overall very good. A bit too much free time with 2 1/2 days on our own

Service: Outstanding Tour Director and Bus Driver

  • 20 September, 2018

Trip: Loved that we had some free time to explore the cities on our own and experience the local culture.

Service: I would definitely travel with Insight again.

Trip: The pace was excellent! The locations included real indoor learning experiences as well as opportunities to take in the breathtaking beauty of The Canadian Maritimes. I LOVED this trip from the wonderful museums (and the speakers!) to the opportunities to explore natural areas. Isabell Meheux, tour director, and Jim Thorne, bus driver are THE BEST I have ever experienced--and I have been on about a dozen bus tours! They thought of EVERTYTHING! What a fantastic experience we had in celebrating our 50th anniversary! Thank You Insight Vacations for arranging such wonderful travel experiences! And, thanks to our AAA Planner, Vanessa, at AAA Toms River, NJ!

Service: The trip organization, rest stops, and presentations at selected locations was planned exceedingly well.

Trip: We wish there had been less free time and/or more optional excursions, especially in PEI.

Service: This is our third trip with Insight and we have always found the company to provide excellent customer service, from our initial contact requesting specific information or clarification to the guides and drivers who have all been tops!!

  • 20 September, 2018

Trip: Enjoyed each stop especially the docents commentaries and insights as to the historical significance of each place or person .

Service: The tour director, Isabelle *personal information removed by Feefo*, and the bus driver, Jim *personal information removed by Feefo*, did a fantastic job in guiding and driving the tour group. The scenery was beautiful, the places we stayed where lovely, the staff at the hotels/resorts were so helpful and pleasant that we were delighted to encounter each. I was particularly stressed because of the death of my brother during the trip. Isabelle and Jim were sensitive to my situation and did all they could to help my husband and I be comforted without burdening the other travelers w/the situation at our request. We were traveling w/2 couples who are life long friends who provided our support system. We truly appreciate the professionalism of our tour director and bus driver. We'd travel w/them again anytime.

    Trip: See above...……………...mnhytre

Service: The tour guide was outstanding, the bus was comfortable, and the places we visited were unique and interesting. WE learned a lot about Canada and the role of Maritime Provinces in its founding.

  • 12 September, 2018

    Trip: Interesting and enjoyable

Service: Our tour director was excellent as was our driver. The Digby Pines was a great spot and our whale watch was very special.

  • 12 September, 2018

Trip: good pace, comprehensive but not overwhelming with too much detail

Service: great tour director and driver

  • 12 September, 2018

Trip: I loved the trip. We went on so many excursions which was great.

Service: I like the many places we went too. The only thing would be more appreciated is to have more meals included. Traveling as a family, it would be nice to of had us together on the same floor and on the bus. Overall, it was a great trip and glad I went. Yes, I would travel on insights again. :)
