Welcome to Athens. One of the world's ancient cities, famed for its iconic ruins, delicious cuisine and its fascinating myths. Once you arrive in the Greek capital, you’ll be transferred to your beautiful hotel, a luxury abode situated in the heart of the city. Meet your fellow travellers for a Welcome Drink and rest up before your adventure begins tomorrow.
Your Local Expert will show you the incredible sights of Athens including the Acropolis and the Parthenon. The Acropolis of Athens and its monuments are universal symbols of Athens’ classical spirit and civilization. They form the greatest architectural and artistic complex bequeathed by Greek Antiquity to the world. In the evening, head back to your deluxe hotel for a relaxed evening before you head to Mykonos in the morning.
After your breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the port for the ferry sailing to Mykonos. Upon arrival you'll be taken to your picturesque hotel, your home for the next few nights. Explore the town of Mykonos and discover the maze of pretty alleyways of stunning Cycladic houses that make up the island. Later, make a welcoming stop to taste a selection of local delicacies and learn the secrets of Mykonian Cuisine with a Local Expert.

Meet a Greek captain on a wonderful cruise to the stunning, world-famous south coast beaches of Mykonos, where you can sit back and relax as you enjoy the weather and coastal views. Sail from Kalafatis Beach to Paradise beach whilst enjoying Greece’s national drink and local titbits, listening to your captain’s wonderful insights into island life and his passion for sailing the sparkling Aegean Sea.

Enjoy free time this morning. Why not visit Delos, a small island off the coast of Mykonos? The island is an archaeological site that houses iconic ruins, including Doric temples, markets, an amphitheatre and mosaics. The mythological birthplace of Apollo, it is one of the most unique sights worldwide, with ongoing excavations and a beautiful small museum.
After breakfast at your hotel you will be transferred to the port of Mykonos to board the ship to Piraeus. Once here you will be met at the port and transferred to your Athens hotel. There is time in the afternoon for you to do some last-minute sightseeing, souvenir shopping or just relax at your hotel.
Your Greek adventure ends today, but the fond memories remain! After breakfast at the hotel take a transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Enjoy a lovely dining experience at a wonderful restaurant located in the lively area of Psiri. Dining is “meze style”, giving you the opportunity to taste many Greek cuisine dishes, which are served in the centre of the table. Also enjoy the local free-flowing wine! Afterwards, see the Acropolis beautifully illuminated as you return to your hotel.

This is an evening excursion to a taverna in the centre of Athens. Excellent traditional Greek food in a lively atmosphere, entertained through dances and music from all parts of the country. Wine, beer and soft drinks are also included. Although the venue does have an official ending time, guests are more than welcome to stay on in the taverna, to join in with the local residents! Take a relaxing trip down to the southernmost tip of Mainland Greece to see the fifth century B.C Temple of Poseidon at Sounion. See if you can spot where Byron carved his initials on one of the temple’s sixteen columns. Marvel at the sheer rugged beauty of the coastline and the ancient temple perched above a 197-foot drop down to the Aegean Sea below. This old aristocratic Athenian district, abundant with high end boutiques, art galleries and trendy little cafes, is home to a unique gastronomy centre. Here you will be warmly welcomed and invited to taste and discover the the texture of the star ingredient in Greek diet, olive oil. A walking tour through Mykonos town takes us through the labyrinth of windy streets, boasting beautifully white washed cubed architecture with iconic blue shutters and blue domed churches. See the old port with little fishing boats and stunning yachts while walking towards “little Venice” to see the picturesque famous windmills. We might just see Petros the Pelican- Mykonos’ mascot the the secrets of the cosmopolitan yet traditional town are revealed. We explore the island, visiting some of the most beautiful beaches and viewing the landscape of inland Mykonos. Visit “Ano Mera” and its famous Monastery, and Kalafatis beach, to perhaps enjoy a swim in the beautiful Aegean Sea.

We take a boat ride to Delos, once a Sacred Island, the legendary birthplace of God Apollo and his twin sister Artemis. Today Delos is one of the most important archaeological sites of the eastern Mediterranean. We see amongst others, the remains of the Temple of Apollo, the sanctuary of Artemis, the old city and the theatre and then walk down the celebrated Lion Street. In the museum of Delos one can admire Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic and Roman Sculptures, a collection of vessels from all periods as well as small items of everyday use. Transfers to/from port and entrance included.
