We returned several weeks ago from our New England trip and have gained perspective on the experience. Overall, we feel we visited – alas only briefly - very many of the ‘main sights’ of the area, scenery and places of interest as well as learning a lot about the political, social and economic history and current situation of the various states we visited. The itinerary was well planned and covered so much. We enjoyed meeting our fellow travellers from many different places and getting to know them. Our tour director (Howie) was amazing, pacing his information about each state and each place we visited, and incidentally joining the dots on our fragmented knowledge of American history. He was constantly ensuring everyone’s comfort and enjoyment. Our group worked well together not least because of his management of the trip. Our driver (Joseph) displayed excellent driving skills in some very tight places. This was our first Insight Vacations tour but it will not be our last – thank you to everyone who made this such a memorable holiday for us.

I rate this tour five although it was my first experience on a coach tour so I have no other to compare it to. I very much enjoyed the tour. The tour director and the bus driver were EXCEPTIONAL. The hotels were great. Especially the Trapp Family Lodge, that was a highlight. The only thing I wish different and you might consider this for future, is that staying the last night in Portland , Maine could be changed to two nights somewhere closer to the coast whereby we could have some time on a beach. How-ever I have never been to these states so have no idea what is available. The tour seemed well planned. I would recommend the company. Thanks.

Oh, my! It was soo much fun: the Norman Rockwell Museum, the Cold Hollow Apple Cider Mill, the Morse Farm Maple Sugar Works, the foliage, the unexpected stops like Salem, Massachusetts. My, it was a whirlwind of excitement. Our tour guide, Cyndi, was outstanding, as was the hotel accommodations, food, and fellowship. Meeting people and stepping outside my comfortable "box" was fantastic. I would do the trip all over again if I could tomorrow!

If 5 Stars is the best, that is how I would rate our tour. I can't think of anything that wasn't above our expectations. Every little detail was thought of to make us comfortable and happy. I loved the variety of stops and hotels. And our tour director, Sheri, was such a total delight. Sheri was very knowledgable about every thing on our trip from basic information about the state, the different sites in each state even the the ones we did not visit. She gave us accurate guidance about what to look for at our stops to maximize or experience, when the best time would be to buy items, Restaurants which provide different foods and services, etc, She was able to turn any traveler's negative comments into a positive feeling and she never lost her beautiful smile or attitude. She made our trip very positively memorable.

Had a wonderful trip/tour. Enjoyed the great food and accommodations. Our tour director, Roger was very informative; really knows about all the New England states. He was able to organize the tour so that we had many different places to visit. There was something/somewhere for everyone on the tour to enjoy.

The fall leaves tour with our Tour Director Jordan Allen was so much more beautiful and full of surprises than we ever expected. Jordan found so many "off the beaten path" places to go that were so awesome!

This is a wonderful trip for those wanting to see the Autumn colours and experience the New England area. The tour is well paced, stopping for two nights in two of the destinations. Staying at the Von Trapp Lodge was wonderful. Many of the evening meals were included and the "lobsta bake" on the final night was a real treat that everyone enjoyed. The coaches used by Insight are spacious and with only 40 people, movement on and off the the coach is time efficient. Loved the Norman Rockwell Museum, the visit to the maple syrup farm & the gondola ride.

Thanks so much to Insight and our Tour Director, Rob, for making this such a wonderful trip! We had excellent meals and spectacular views on our stops. Our tour director made each stop special by sharing information we wouldn't have received if we had traveled on our own and we never had to deal with our luggage once! The bags "magically" showed up on the bus and in our rooms when we got to the hotels. :) As much as my husband and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery and food, the friendships we made on the bus were our favorite part. We met people from all over the US, England, Australia and New Zealand. It was fun getting to know the other passengers and learning how their cultures differ from ours. We would recommend Insight to anyone considering a New England Fall Foliage Tour!

The whole tour far exceeded my expectations in nearly every way.I found the organisation exceptional and the icing on the cake was our superb tour director, Howie, who was efficient, knowledgeable, on many subjects concerning the various places we travelled to, and executed the whole tour with kindness and humour. Very well done Howie!
