Trip: Should only be one night in Vilnius and two nights in Riga
Service: Excellent Tour Director, Alex Grolov
16 October, 2018
Trip: Amazing places and experiences.
Service: Everything was very well organised. Anna, the tour director, was most attentive to all requests and worked hard to ensure the tour went to timetable and provided worthwhile advice for our free time in each city or town.

Trip: Probably a trip we would only do once, but thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to do so. Have been to Poland previously, and St. Petersburg and Moscow, although very interesting and beautiful, are very large cities, and we tend to enjoy smaller locations better.
Service: Very personable tour director. Always approachable. There was a lot of detail with respect to instructions on this trip and one had to take some personal responsibility in jotting them down to make for a much smoother day. Those who didn't seemed to complain the most.

Trip: Our tour director, Alex *personal information removed by Feefo* was excellent
Service: Should have one night at Vilnius and extra night at Riga. Should have taken an earlier train from St Petersburg to Moscow. We arrived at Moscow too late

Trip: Some of the optional tours were not really worth the price we had to pay. It also seemed that the TD was more concerned on booking us for the optional tours - making sure that we pay at the time she wants us to pay. I find this rather rude.
Service: You booked us at Radisson Royal in Moscow. Nice hotel but then accommodations (rooms) were without view. I would have preferred somewhere else as long as our room has better view. We are paying for premium, Insight might as well book us in better rooms. Second, hotel is far from "less costly" dining places. Please book us in hotels where we have dining (cost) options. Next time, please allow us to choose whether we want a twin bed or a double bed. I tried to "change" it but Insight reservations did not respond. I asked the TD at the start of the tour but says she can no longer change the accommodations. Looking to do the Balkans or UK next year. Thanks Emil

30 September, 2018
Trip: Overall great, but could have spent more time in Warsaw.
Service: Excellent hotel location, knowledgeable and assertive guide (where needed), several days in many locations, very spacious and comfortable coach.
30 September, 2018
Trip: Good, however for us, more walking tours and history. To be fair we were the youngest group. I would replace the Hermitage with something else as it was overcrowded. The river and canal cruise would be, in my opinion, a good replacement.
Service: Our tour guide Anna was fantastic. The bus drivers were quite good, our first bus driver was amazing dodging all the oncoming traffic that kept coming onto our side of the road ... The welcome meal was awful, i'd recommend finding somewhere else. The Hotel in Moscow, even though it was a 6 star, I wasn't impressed. The staff were smoking in an office on the floor that our room was on, about 2 meters away, and our bath towels stunk of cigarette smoke. Some of the staff at the hotel were quite rude.
23 September, 2018
Trip: Good itinerary. although it was a lot to absorb historically in a limit of 16 days1 Fortunately we arrived one day early so we had no problem with jet lag.
Service: the guides were great however Julia in St.Petersburg need to carry something brighter and higher so we could find her. Also, the welcome dinner in Warsaw was wonderful but the welcome dinner in St.Petersburg and Moscow were buffets. I expected sit down service since Insight charges more than Globus.
23 September, 2018
Trip: I think only one day in Warsaw was not enough. Two days in Moscow was rushed. There could have been more optional included in with tour in Moscow.
Service: The tour director could have been more diligent when on the tours. With over 38 people, it was easily to get lost with the guides. There was high crowds of people.
