Trip: Given the distance travelled, the experience was great. However, some of the add ones should have been included,I.e. The Troll Road.

Service: We rated it highly due to the professionalism of Chad, the tour director.

Trip: There seemed to be some confusion about the last part of the trip itinerary with the addition of another group joining the first group we were with. We thought this put the second tour guide in an awkward position but he handled it well.

Service: Everything with the trip went as expected. We were pleased with the visit to such a beautiful part or our world.

    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

Trip: Did not like the tour broken in two parts, second part was not as good at the first in the venues, visits needs more meat

Service: Great trip, great guides, food and hotels OK. Some nit picks: Hotels need to have two luggage racks, better hand holds on showers, (showers dangerous), Buffets get old. Time in Arrhaus and other museums need to be reviewed way too short. Some local guides just going through the motions. Bus back seat horrible, remove and replace with standard seats

    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

Trip: Overall it was very good indeed. Although because it was actually 2 tours, we did feel that some time was wasted going to Oslo to get the extra ones for the 2nd tour (and drop 1/2 our original tour off there) and only then to Bergen.......

Service: We had an excellent Tour Directors and drivers, everything was very smoothly organised and run. We also had a very nice friendly group on our tours and were blessed with good weather throughout, so overall we really enjoyed it :-) We also enjoyed the few optional excursions we did, but feel that they are very overpriced - especially the ones that are just meals! Also we didn't know until after we arrived that our tour was actually split into 2 separate ones, first time we've had to switch Tour Directors, drivers and coaches 20 days into a 28 day tour! And say goodbye to 19 of our group and hello to 18 new people - some of the Australians travelling with us hadn't known they could book the "2nd additional tour", so were disappointed they couldn't carry on with the group of 21 that did. Accordingly I feel that insight's communications and advertising etc were for once a bit lacking here.

Trip: The Itinerary covered the four main countries and was quite extensive. We think some of the optional experiences should have been included in the Insight Experiences but one way or the other we saw wonderful places.

Service: We have just returned from a Scandinavian Heritage Tour and would recommend it if you are thinking of a tour to those parts.

    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

Trip: The distance was long. Sweden was one long motorway trip from the time we crossed the bridge from Denmark till the coach arrived in Stockholm. Finland was not scenic country roads either. It wasn't until Norway that we were off motorways. Coming back across Denmark was extremely disappointing. The tour included Country Roads. It should have read Country Motorways. We thought we would be travelling through small villages and actual country roads. The trip seemed to cheapen after Oslo, cramped coach, little leg room. Certainly not like the previous coach around Norway, Finland and Sweden. Hotels were only passable except for the Aahus hotel which was superb. All the optional extras were so expensive, especially the dinners. A lot more of the optionals should have been included. The reindeer farm was a rip off as well as the husky experience where they reluctantly served small amounts of food and drink. Santa's hotel was so dirty. I have sent you the photo of the bedding and the couch. I was only one sheet away from the disgusting mattress. This is certainly not what I expected to encounter. We nw have done Scandinavia and now home and recovered look back on all the amazing places we have visited. Thank you Insight for the good bits. Unfortunately the experience on a whole had faults and some things could have been a lot better.

Service: We thought the driver on our Scandinavian Heritage was exceptional. The long distance covered never once made us feel at risk.

    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

Trip: Good itinerary however a couple of the optional extra trips could of been included as part of general itinerary therefore avoiding having to leave people not on optional tour at a cafe stop or at a hotel with no information on transport etc available in town while others did optional trip.

Service: We have travelled with Insight Vacations and are doing another trip in September 2018 - Canada. Customer service good.
