Trip: In addition to the above comments, I would say going to the Blue Lagoon was the highlight of the trip.
Service: The 7 day trip was the right amount of time for touring the Golden Circle. The hotels were nice and the guides at the facilities we toured were excellent. Our tour guide was exceptional. We travel quite a bit and she was one of the best we've ever had. She made the trip so enjoyable and has a wealth of information about Iceland. There was not a question she could not answer.

Trip: So much packed in to the tour. We were on the winter itinerary and only did the south of the island, but we saw so much and travelled extensively through the Golden Circle.
Service: Our tour director Susie is an amazing young woman and looked after everyone's needs on the trip. She goes above and beyond her job description. Our bus driver Hrapn (apologies of his name is misspelt) was always there waiting for us and delivered us door to door, even reversing the bus so we could get straight off into the reception instead of walking around the bus - extremely thoughtful

Trip: I absolutely LOVED everything included on the tour. Before leaving home, in reading about some of the planned tour stops, I wondered if those experiences (ex. geothermal power plant, tomato growing greenhouse) would be a little dry but they were fascinating! So interesting! I also loved the baked rye bread demonstration! It was great as was all the beautiful falls and countryside! DON'T pass up an opportunity to pamper yourself in the Secret Lagoon and, OF COURSE, the Blue Lagoon! Both were fabulous...and naked showering TRULY was no big deal. Everyone just goes about their business, eyes averted and relishes in the big payoff of bathtub warm water that is SO relaxing and wonderful. I loved seeing the sights in Reykjavik and having the freedom to wander the shops on the main drag. (We went a day early before the tour so we had time to rest from the 7.5 hour flight and then had most of the next day to catch a city bus (free tickets/map provided by the hotel) to shop and explore downtown Reykjavik on our own. Navigation was not difficult. I highly recommend arriving a day early and/or staying a day later, outside of the published tour dates. I'd do this tour again in a second! (By the way, we were extremely fortunate to have dry weather during the day with rain at night or in the early morning hours. This was during early October. When windy the temp could be around 28 degrees but we also had a sunny day with little wind and it was about 42. Clothing layers is the way to go with a good knit cap or other ear covering.)
Service: This was an excellent trip. Our tour guide, Robbie, was good at providing all kinds of interesting information about Iceland...historical, economical, geographical, etc. I also appreciated his knowledge and comments about the wildlife and Icelandic culture. He worked hard to make it a smooth, enjoyable trip for everyone and was especially diligent in tracking the possibility of witnessing the Aurora Borealis (which we DID get to see one clear night.) My only regret is that he had very little time to take one-on-one questions, but, I understood it was because he was constantly busy ensuring we stayed on schedule as he coordinated the next experience, timing the next stop of the tour. He especially took a personal interest in everyone as they prepared to leave the country, making sure they understood what to expect with unfamiliar Keflavik airport routines and automation.

Trip: We had the perfect weather.Saw the lights once, and for me that was great. I was very satisfied with the tour..saw the culture, saw the geysers, the blue lagoon (preferred the secret lagoon, though), and saw the geo-thermal plant which I had heard so much about
Service: We had a wonderful tour guide. He was always there when we needed him. He even helped me pick up the right gifts for my family. The driver was great, too. He had lots of recommendations for us, and he did a fantastic job. I personally feel that a tour can be a great success with the right guide . I have been down with the flu ever since I returned, haven't had the time to download the pictures
