Trip: The variety was great though Casablanca was the least interesting apart from the rain that day. We gave some very specific comments on our rating questionnaires on the next to last day of the tour that were mainly positive but with some negatives that this email format does not allow to incorporate.

Service: It mainly was the help of our travel agent in Albuquerque thru All World Travel, Ailene Coleman.

  • 12 November, 2018

Service: Everything was well organised and the hotels were great Our tour guide Jorge Paulino went out of his way to make sure my mother (who’s 80) and myself (with mobility issues) were looked after and that we didn’t miss out on any of the sights or experiences.

Service: Daniel was a great tour director. Very knowledgeable and a great communicator and always Williams to help and answer questions.

  • 06 November, 2018

Trip: I would suggest more time in Portugal and only 3 days maximum in Morocco. Interesting to see Fez, Marrakech and Moroccan village - this was enough to understand their culture and history. Itinerary is go,go,go with basically no time to relax or have extra time for shopping or exploring. We are in our early 60’s and can’t imagine how people that were 80 could keep up (there were at least 5 of them). Lots of pressure by Moroccan guides to buy carpets, leather goods etc in Marrakech- I bought a very expensive rug and felt extreme pressure from our guide to buy it - I am really sorry I paid way too much for my rug and others got 2 rugs for the price I paid for one, obviously the Moroccan guides get commission on these sales. A lot of people on the bus were sick at the end of the tour with the flu or coughs because of the gruelling pace of this tour. I would recommend travel agents tell clients there are basically no relaxed starts it you take all the optional tours.

Service: Daniel was very organized, punctual and knowledgeable about the history and culture of Portugal, Spain and Morocco. He was patient and made sure older participants were accommodated on all excursions. We appreciated that he prepared us for many unusual situations we encountered in Morocco. We also enjoyed several extra side trips to small villages that we’re the highlight of our trip. Hotel rooms were definitely better than what we experienced in Italy. If you are expecting time to relax this is not for you - there were many early starts and long bus rides especially in Morocco.

  • 05 November, 2018

Trip: One more day in Portugal and one less day in Morocco would have made the itinerary perfect.

Service: We booked through AAA and did not deal directly with Insight Vacations. The tour manager provided good customer service.
