We’re giving you the flexibility to change your booking up to 30 days prior to the departure of your tour. If, for any reason, you change your mind about your tour, you can select different dates and/or a new destination without penalty on the land portion of your tour with us (airlines may impose different change policies and penalties).**

How many people will be on my tour?
We now offer a variety of groups sizes on all of our tours, including new Small Group departures that travel with a max of 24 guests. In addition, you can book a tour as a Small Private Group and travel with just your friends and family. Our Classic Group departures max at 40 guests, but usually run with approximately 32 people. What if my travel situation changes?
When booking your tour, you can hold your departure for 3-days with no obligation. You also have the flexibility to change your booking up to 30 days prior to the departure of your tour.**

How will I stay well while travelling?
Our coaches are equipped with air filters that are inspected, cleaned daily and replaced regularly. Our air filtration system is designed to create an efficient vertical and safe airflow that helps ensure impurities, like Covid aerosols, are not spread. Air within the coach is completely filtered and changed on average every 2 to 3 minutes. All frequently touched surfaces inside your coach — including handrails, doors, tables, overhead lockers — plus your luggage handles, will be disinfected multiple times each day. Guests are asked to bring your own face mask and gloves, but in the case of emergency, personal protective equipment will be distributed to you. WHAT SUPPORT WILL THERE BE ON MY TOUR?
A dedicated Well-Being Director, with the latest health authority and local government guidelines, will be available on all tours of more than 20 guests. Your Well-Being Director is responsible for the quality assurance of all hotels, restaurants and other venues you visit during you tour. Quality checks will ensure that all travel partners meet local regulations and the established TTC, WTTC and WHO well-being protocols.
What happens if someone gets sick?
Prior to every tour, all team members and guests will complete a personal well-being declaration before joining their tour. Should an incident arise on tour, rest assured that we have protocols in place. We will direct distancing and coordinate with local medical support and testing. We will liaise with local authorities to follow directives, which will vary across countries, and support. Learn More
We have worked closely with the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) to guide and co-create their “New Normal Safe and Seamless Traveler Journey” global protocols.
TOURCARE was created in collaboration between USTOA, CATO and ETOA (United States, Canadian and European Tour Operators Associations). These guidelines provide direction for tour operators across all touch-points of a tour – staff, suppliers, and passengers – to ensure that health and sanitization protections are in place for each stakeholder and the communities visited. Sanitization procedures recommended are those issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the European Centre for Disease Control (ECDC), and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), as well as local governmental health authorities.
For new bookings until further notice, we have temporarily changed the terms of our change/cancellation policy to give you more time to make decisions about your future travel plans without worrying about increasing penalties. Effective immediately and until further notice, we are temporarily offering a waiver for the change penalty until 30 days prior to departure should guests wish to change their dates or travel to a different destination. This applies to land bookings only and does not apply to European trips that include Oberammergau or group bookings. This penalty waiver allows you to change the destination and/or trip you are traveling on. If you choose a trip or departure that is more expensive than the original, you are responsible for the difference in price; if the trip or departure is less expensive than the original, a future travel credit will be issued for the difference. Discounts and promotions are subject to availability on the new trip. Normal penalties apply for full cancellation without re-booking or cancellations within 30 days of departure. Please note, airlines may impose different change policies, and if you declined travel insurance, you are responsible for any airline cancellation penalties. Temporary changes to standard terms and conditions apply to new Guided Vacation bookings until further notice and may be removed at any time. Other conditions apply.
