Trip: some of the hotels are not good; too many optional activities
Service: customer service is professional.
10 January, 2019
Trip: The itinerary was fine for the time we had in both countries. A little more free time woukd have been nice.
Service: The website is very confusing at times. There was an issue with the prepaid gratuity, the tour director was not notified that we had prepaid and we, the customer had to prove that we did. Our tour director was great, very helpful and organized. Some programs, I’ve a cooking class that was on our itinerary was cancelled and kind dinner was cancelled at the last minute and moved to antigen date. Not cool, we had to figure out where to get a meal in a strange city.
15 December, 2018
Trip: I felt that I saw many aspects of Spain and Portugal from the large metropolitan cities to the small country town. I truly enjoyed the olive press experience and process.
Service: Very easy to make a selection and book a trip.
15 December, 2018
Trip: Love the places of interest especially so for the optional tours. The meals for the optional tour is nothing to shout about. The Paella “make believe” cooking demonstration was done in a narrow long room where the ones at the end of the room can’t see anything. The TV camera did not help either. The dish was very salty. This was the only big let down for me. The “dine with me” experience was wonderful and we were glad to be able to communicate with the host with a translator.
Service: A very skillful driver and he is always with a smile. Tour director is very considerate to point us to local interest and always looking for a clean restroom stop for us.
12 December, 2018
Trip: It was a lot in the time afforded it. I would like more time to stay at the different stops. I would have spent more days in Porto and Lisbon.
Service: The service was excellent. Dan was a great tour guide. He was organized, informative, and had a sense of humor. The driver we had was masterful at handling that bus in all of those cities, towns, and in that weather of heavy rain.
09 December, 2018
Trip: It was not the best month to go to Spain and Portugal. It was raining and slippery. No ones fault it was mother nature
Service: Same as Trafalgar experience. We just have more room to move in our bus experience.
08 December, 2018
Trip: Well planned. We understand tge time constraint
Service: Very well organised. Our tour director and bus driver were first class. Will definitely join Insight tours in the future. Will not hesitate to recommend our friends
02 December, 2018
Trip: Variety of places seen. Thought Toledo excursion should have been included-not as an optional excursion. Could have used a bit more free time.
Service: I would recommend Insight. A few hotels did not bring our luggage to our rooms. We paid for this as stated in tour description. Many times there was a time lag in getting our luggage if brought up by hotel. Liked location of all hotels except Barcelona-Sant. Would have preferred being the historic old city. Hotel in Salamonca was not a 4 nor 5 star hotel. The bathroom shower had black mold on ceiling, walls, and door of shower.
02 December, 2018
Trip: Was our second trip - would definitely travel with Insight again. Our travel director Dan was great .
Service: Very well organised . Loved the whole trip.
01 December, 2018
Trip: We saw more 'must sees' than what could be expected in so short a time.
Service: You did everything very well. We will recommend you and support you again.
30 November, 2018
Trip: For me personally I felt some days were a bit full on and long. Could have spent more time in some of the places visited.
Service: The tour director and coach driver were excellent. Nothing was a problem for them.
26 November, 2018
Trip: The itinerary was detailed and we saw everything on our list of sightseeing..
Service: The tour was well planned. We were lucky to have Elena as Travel Director. She was very good and we enjoyed travelling with her. Luis was an excellent driver, very helpful and pleasant. We felt safe with him. Only negative was that the hotels were not ready for us to check-in till late evening, when we were very tired after a hectic day of travelling and sightseeing.
