DISCOVER OUR MONACO TOURS AND TRAVEL GUIDE

Visit Royal Palace in Old Town, explore Monaco's cruise port, Monte Carlo Casino, Eze day tour and more.

Home to the Monaco Grand Prix and with a harbour full of luxury yachts, Monaco is the epitome of Mediterranean glamor. But this micronation, the second-smallest in the world, is much more than casinos and fast cars. Our Monaco guided tours not only drive you along part of the Grand Prix track, but walk you through the history of the Principality.

Spend time on this annexed area of the Cote d’Azur and cruise part of the iconic Grand Prix circuit: a public roadway that is closed only for the annual race. Visit the Oceanographic Museum to learn about the Mediterranean Science Commission or step into the Royal Palace of Monaco where Italian frescos and newly-renovated State Apartments showcase lavish design across the centuries. Explore the Monaco Cathedral and walk around Monte Carlo in search of delicious Monegasque food on our Monaco tours.

What to Eat in Monaco

Premium Dining on Every Tour

Monaco food, like the country, has a deep French Provencal influence. Many menus read similar to those in nearby Nice: salade nicoise, bouillabaisse, and socca are common. Monaco has borrowed from Italy’s pantry, too, with dishes like Milanese escalopes.

Barbagiuan is one of the more popular Monaco dishes. Often considered a national dish, this baked or fried pastry is stuffed with ricotta, cheese, Swiss chard, and spinach or pumpkin.

Monaco cuisine that showcases its Mediterranean flavors doesn’t get better than stocafi. Dried cod is stewed in a tomato sauce mixed with capers, garlic, and black olives.

L’Orangerie may be a museum in Paris, but in Monaco, it’s a proud cocktail. This orange liqueur is made from the bitter oranges that grow in Monaco.

Did You Know?

Monaco has an unofficial national language: Monégasque.

The official language of Monaco is French, though the second-smallest country in the world is receptive to a variety of tongues. Not far from the Italian border, it’s no surprise that Italian is well-spoken. English is common, too. However, some people who visit Monaco don’t realize that Monégasque is an actual language. Monégasque was based in Genoese then influenced by dialects from Nice, Liguria, and Piedmont. It’s strictly oral, so you won’t find many Monégasque writings.
